Climax Blues is a slight departure from the mostly ambient experiments and sound collage works that Red Lauan Tree is known for. This record is a cycle of six songs with a more upbeat tempo than previous works, although the album still retains a strong atmospheric sensibility. All songs were recorded utilizing the same set of equipment in an attempt to create a more solid and cohesive sound.

What a classic this is. The dark minimal is top notch. sRule is an amazing track but it takes some time to get you into it. Where as porch_field grabs you right away what a starter. Also last track is a real banger. Marty
